Four composers. One extraordinary artistic circle.
From Robert Schumann’s beloved Kinderszenen and Lieder, to Clara’s expressive songs and virtuosic Scherzo, the programme then turns to Johannes Brahms, featuring his Hungarian Dances for four-hand piano, selected Liebeslieder Waltzes, and solo Lieder. We then arrive at Hugo Wolf, whose intensely personal Lieder style marks a new chapter beyond Brahms’s classical refinement — one where poetry and music merge into a more dramatic and psychologically charged expression.
